ประกาศผลโครงการ Green University “ทิ้ง เทิร์น ให้โลกจำ Upvel 2” ภายในงาน “GC Sustainable Living Symposium 2024 : GEN S GATHERING”

Associate Professor Dr. Natthapong Makrat, Assistant to the President for Environmental and Physical Development, attended   the announcement of the Green University project "Throw It, Turn It, Let the World Remember Upvel 2" at the "GC Sustainable Living Symposium 2024  : GEN S GATHERING" event , organized by PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (GC). The Green University project "Throw It, Turn It, Let the World Remember Upvel 2" is a competition for collecting both electronic waste via the AIS E-Waste + application and plastic waste via GC YOUturn, a comprehensive used plastic management platform. The project aims to raise awareness and create a sense of waste management among students, university staff, and the public. It also encourages participation in separating electronic waste (E-waste) and used plastic, including clear plastic bottles (PET) and opaque plastic bottles (HDPE), for proper recycling. The project also aims to build a network of young people and universities that are environmentally driven, working together nationwide. Win scholarships worth over 100,000 baht, certificates, and Upcycle trophies from used plastics and electronic waste.  42 universities are participating in the project nationwide. King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok ranked first in delivering 7,836 pieces of electronic waste and seventh in delivering 32,157 plastic bottles, for a total of seventh place.
